hi, I'm CHARISSA

Thanks for stopping by! Here's a little bit about me…

I grew up in Maryland, just outside D.C., but recently relocated to Colorado. A while back my health took a turn for the worse and I’ve now been fighting chronic illness for so long that “normal” life feels like a distant memory. Everything from Lyme Disease to Gastroparesis, MCS, Biotoxin Illness, ME/CFS, and the list goes on. This has forced me to leave family behind in search of healthier environments, as well as lay aside my education and potential job and service opportunities. I now desire to use my lifelong passion for writing to help others discover hope in hard places.

While I haven’t found a complete answer, I’m happy to report that I’ve made partial progress thanks to the Hansa Center in Wichita, Kansas, along with the help of another practitioner. However, health and financial issues have prevented me from returning or receiving further treatment.

Even though I’ve faced many hardships, God has been my solid Anchor through it all. He has preserved and provided, never letting me go. And I’m excited to announce that He has given me the opportunity to create a new website where I can share more of my story! A place where some of the treasures I’ve been unearthing along the way might spill over into your life, too. It will also provide a platform where those who wish to help further can join in supporting medical treatments and specific needs I’m currently unable to meet on my own.

Thank you again for taking the time to visit my page. Make sure to drop back by soon to see the full site and join me on a journey of audacious hope! Until then, you can still find me here.
